That’s the difference between the “haves” and “pretenders”. The former simply needs the ball. In order to determine if they are going to try and score. Field position, clock, score, opponent, quarterback, etc has zero bearing. Have ball. Will try to score. Every possession is valued and the top schools recruit playmakers in the hopes of scoring as soon as possible. Then, it’s three and out and start all over again. Killer instinct
