Don't know if anybody cought this................

Im still trying to figure Trey out. Cant figure out where he is coming from. Pretty negative on everything Hawkeye.
Come on LASBUR, you know that random guys on HN.com have more football knowledge than all the B1G coaches.

Yeah, I was pretty negative after the season was over but slowly and month by month, I am getting better. After all, everyone needs to remember it is just a game played by kids 18-23 years old.

It is incredible how invested we all get in the Hawks. I take every loss real hard. Always think we have a chance to win every game. I do drink a lot of Kool Aid. PBR After losses

I used to drink lots of Kool-aid, but after '10 I realized that wasn't returning to '02-'04 form but that of '05-'07. I am starting to sip on it again as spring ball gets closer but not over doing it like I used to do.

My expectation is that, at least temporarily, they move one or more DT's to DE opposite Alvris. My guess is Darian Cooper and/or LTP play a lot at the strong side DE position. Much of that will depend on the development of the redshirt frosh DT's.

What they need is one of the young "project" DE's to step up this year. I feel confident about the LB's, feel like the competition for the cornerback spots should be intense. Really need Law to step up, I'm not a fan of Miller but think he could have a fifth year style Iowa "story" year where things come together for him. Need a "go-to" receiver but the TE position has to be the centerpiece of the passing game. Too much depth and talent there not to have those guys on the field a lot. I have some concerns about Davis' move towards slot type receivers a bunch. Really need to have more two TE alignments like Stanford and UW. The TE has been a real strength for the program and we should be able to continue to recruit well there. Need to take advantage of that.

You cease to be a "kid" at 18.

I know, right? I mean how dare he make a prediction pertaining to the Iowa Hawkeyes on an Iowa Hawkeye message board. The nerve of some people.

And, I had the nerve to call him out on the message board...any problem with that, 136? If so, let me know what the rules are and I will follow them. thanks!

Nice to see that being older automatically means you're better RE:Linebackers. So Morris won't be getting run over or have to chase down his target 10 yards down field instead of meeting them in the hole, good to know. Just make sure Kirksey gets benched for missing only one or two tackles.

Also, unsure about the QB position? Well don't worry, all the confidence the backups seemingly lacked will be magically replenished this off-season. Thank the lord they weren't thrown into the line of fire against foes like Purdue or Indiana or an end of year blowout, they never would have recovered.
