My expectation is that, at least temporarily, they move one or more DT's to DE opposite Alvris. My guess is Darian Cooper and/or LTP play a lot at the strong side DE position. Much of that will depend on the development of the redshirt frosh DT's.
What they need is one of the young "project" DE's to step up this year. I feel confident about the LB's, feel like the competition for the cornerback spots should be intense. Really need Law to step up, I'm not a fan of Miller but think he could have a fifth year style Iowa "story" year where things come together for him. Need a "go-to" receiver but the TE position has to be the centerpiece of the passing game. Too much depth and talent there not to have those guys on the field a lot. I have some concerns about Davis' move towards slot type receivers a bunch. Really need to have more two TE alignments like Stanford and UW. The TE has been a real strength for the program and we should be able to continue to recruit well there. Need to take advantage of that.
