Dondre Alexander will play basketball in college.

This is according to a tweet by Rob Howe. Alexander is a senior-to-be at Iowa City West. He is an all-state WR and SG.

Ya thats what most people think he has many more accolades and better offers for football I think I heard Mich and Mich State just offered him. But the kid should play what he wants.

Dondre might want to start staying awake in classes if he wants to clear the NCAA clearinghouse.

They're both rough, at best, For Iowa. Maybe summer will show differently. I'm hoping that's the case for Morgan as I like his demeanor. As for Alexander, he seems like a decent guy and I like the fact he'll stick with BB regardless. .

That's about where I'd be in terms of pure basketball talent between these 2.

dondre is an eric may type with more ability in both (i believe). he could play either even though his best upside is football. he is a better bb player than may and at least has played at the position in fb that he would play which gives him a leg up on may. either way (fb or bb) i think he is a guy iowa needs. right now i would take him over morgan for bb and i think he is better than some of our wrs too.

I don't think Bo will be pulling many players out of Iowa after the Uthoff thing. Collin Cowheard was ripping him this morning, and I'm sure these kids in Iowa are noticing Fran and are thinking less slow Bo.
