Dom Uhl

I have a great source.

Sure you do. Fan forums are full of people talking sh*t who have great sources. Meanwhile, I sincerely doubt Fran would put up with such an attitude. Uhl is doing fine... he did fine as a Freshman... he will be a very good player for us this year and in years to come.

Dom Uhl is going to be a very good player for the Hawks over the next few years. Quit expecting every recruit we get to come in and average 15 points a game by their Sophomore year. Uhl is gonna be a matchup nightmare for a lot of teams in the future

Agree...some quickly forget that White and Marble would disappear early in their Hawkeye career when playing tuff competition. He will have growing pains this year for different reasons. One major one is he is playing out of position most the time. He will get more comfortable with it and really struggle with it most times. All and all i think he will be a heck of a player.

Uhl will be the same kind of match up nightmare the next 2 years that White and Uthoff were before him IMO. He just has to wait his turn.

I have never thought Uhl is a Big 10 caliber player. When is the last time we had a freshman come in and make immediate impact, averaging big numbers? White? Gattens? Uhl was to be the next big deal, playing Freshman minutes. Not even close to White, Gattens, etc Hasn't done much except grow hair.

This is just stupid. Uhl will make you eat those words soon enough.

To be fair to Dom, he came into a team that had established leaders and was played sparingly. Completely different situation than when White came in and there was virtually no leadership or standout players on the team with the exception of Gatens. You also only need to watch Dom play for a short time before it's obvious that he has the physical attributes and skill level to be an above average B1G caliber player. He needs to learn, like others have, what it takes to realize that potential. We saw it with Basabe when he thought he could show up his sophomore year and Clemmons as well. Fran has obviously been in his ear and it's starting to get through to Dom as the season has progressed. I expect him to get better as he acclimates to his new role on this team.

We're finally at a point where we're a respectable program so you can finally see why this would be the case but why would a freshman with the capability of putting up great numbers that soon want to come here?

And the last guy to be like that has to be Ricky Davis right?
