Dom Uhl

Start Uhl at the 3 next year and push Uthoff to the 4.

We would finally have 3-4 shooters on the floor and be long and athletic with Jok at 6'6" and Uhl at 6'7". The layup was great, no doubt. But I may have been even more thrilled with him knocking down a 3.

Uthoff at the 4 may cause some concern being only 6'8" and underweight but he's long and a good shot blocker and we still have a 7 footer to protect the basket. Furthermore Uthoff could be a nightmare match up if they try to put a big guy on him.

I believe Uhl is 6'8-6'9ish and Uthoff is 6' 9.5" so we wouldn't be undersized at all. Just lacking some muscle in those positions. But we would be extremely long.

Height stats came from their bios on ESPN.
Hawkeye sports (probably more accurate/up to date has both an inch taller so 6'8" and 6'9" which is closer to what you are saying.

Sadly this is true. People dump on Aaron White constantly on here and he's one of the best players in the conference and country. Same with MG, he wasn't All B1G by his Sophomore season so the sites been on meltdown about how horrible our guards are ever since. Woodbury hasn't turned into Kaminsky yet, so, well, he's one of the worst 7 footers in the game on this site. So, while that post probably seemed negative to some, it's a fairly accurate account of how this website operates.

Closer to 6'10, hes taller than White with a very long reach.

That line up lacks bulk but could be really good.

This was my assumption as well. The classic power forward role has gone the way of the dodo bird anyway. Not many teams has the classic big power forward that bangs down on the block.

I don't think that's true, but I'd counter by saying that more and more of those big power forwards can also step outside and shoot from long range now. Guys like Adrien Payne.

Wisconsin has a good one and Kentucky has like 5 of them.

There just doesn't seem to be as many bigs around as there used to be and it seems like if you're a 6'6-6'9 wide body you're more likely to play football now as its popularity has surpassed basketball by a wide margin. That, or if you're any good, you go one and done to the NBA.
