I dont think that is any worse than what NU defenders did to Arnaud earlier in the game that sent him out injured for a few plays. that doesn't justify it, and I dont like to see that out of players, but things like that happen pretty often in the game. Just think about what happens at the bottom of a pile after a loose ball.
I wouldn't call that an "attack" either. clearly the "classiest fans in the country" are making it a bigger deal than it needs to be.
Sorry, but bending a guy back at the legs is not anywhere close to the same as trying to rip a guys head off with the helmet. Especially since it is not the one players fault that Arnaud was tied up on his lower half anyway, his job is to drive him back. Grabbing at a guys helmet and pulling when he is laying in the endzone is bush league, even if they play for your team.
i never said it wasn't "busch league" or uncalled for. but at the same time I dont think it warrants a suspension.
and the NU players kept driving Arnaud back and to the ground well after the whistle, which appears is where the injury occurred. again, it doesnt excuse what AK did, but Nebraska needs to look at themselves before they start calling everyone else out for being "busch". how many dirty hits has the husker defense had this season, some of which have been called and some of which have not? I'd be willing to bet it's more than a dozen
While I thought the NU player was overly aggressive at Arnaud's head. You are flat wrong about him continuing after the whistle. The whistle never blew as on the field it was ruled a fumble and returned by Nebraska. Only on review was it overturned and ruled Arnaud was down. So the Nebraska player was not hitting him after the whistle.
who gives a s**t. it's the clowns and the cornfuskers.
There you go again, TM. It is impossible for anyone to point out anything negative involving the clones without you jumping to the rescue. I'm not buying this "our" hawks stuff from you; you are a clone through and through!
Not clean by any means but if you are going to suspend for that, you will have a lot more suspensions coming. I just actually saw in the news that contact and dirty acts happen in football. I was shocked.
