Does Paul Rhoades step up and suspend AJ Klein?

This was ridiculous, intentionally trying to hurt the opposing player

Wow 1st time I have seen it. Not good, not the worst I've seen. If he would have been been pushing his head back without grabbing the facemask I think everything would be ok. Is it something he should be suspended for? I honestly don't know. That is a good question

I dont think that is any worse than what NU defenders did to Arnaud earlier in the game that sent him out injured for a few plays. that doesn't justify it, and I dont like to see that out of players, but things like that happen pretty often in the game. Just think about what happens at the bottom of a pile after a loose ball.

I wouldn't call that an "attack" either. clearly the "classiest fans in the country" are making it a bigger deal than it needs to be.

Sorry, but bending a guy back at the legs is not anywhere close to the same as trying to rip a guys head off with the helmet. Especially since it is not the one players fault that Arnaud was tied up on his lower half anyway, his job is to drive him back. Grabbing at a guys helmet and pulling when he is laying in the endzone is bush league, even if they play for your team.

I think it's cheap and dirty, but honestly this kind of stuff goes on a lot. I don't see why he should be suspended.

i never said it wasn't "busch league" or uncalled for. but at the same time I dont think it warrants a suspension.

and the NU players kept driving Arnaud back and to the ground well after the whistle, which appears is where the injury occurred. again, it doesnt excuse what AK did, but Nebraska needs to look at themselves before they start calling everyone else out for being "busch". how many dirty hits has the husker defense had this season, some of which have been called and some of which have not? I'd be willing to bet it's more than a dozen

I'd say no to suspension. I agree trying to bend a player's helmet around isn't clean, but if football were completely clean a) it wouldnt be fun to play or watch, 2) it will never happen. By far not the worst I've seen, but he should be running a bit at practice. Suspension? No.

While I thought the NU player was overly aggressive at Arnaud's head. You are flat wrong about him continuing after the whistle. The whistle never blew as on the field it was ruled a fumble and returned by Nebraska. Only on review was it overturned and ruled Arnaud was down. So the Nebraska player was not hitting him after the whistle.

It's def. dirty and punk a$$ but this type of crap goes on alot.

I know it's "Old school" but make him run sprints after practice every day this week until he pukes and tell him if he does it again he's out for whatever bowl game they may or may not get to.

yes, you are right about that. I was in the stands, not watching on tv. my mistake. from my perspective it appeared that the play was long over and the NU players kept going at AA which resulted in him getting bent over backwards, and eventually giving up the ball.

This isn't suspension-worthy. In the pile, this is what goes on all the time. Pile for a fumble? There's plenty of eye-gouging and nut-squeezing going on under there. It's dirty, it's bush league, and I don't like it (certainly never engaged in it), but it's part of football. Kind of like stealing signs in baseball, lots of people look down on it, but it's part of the game (I DO admit to stealing signs lol).

There you go again, TM. It is impossible for anyone to point out anything negative involving the clones without you jumping to the rescue. I'm not buying this "our" hawks stuff from you; you are a clone through and through!

Suggesting that this warrants a suspension? That's ridiculous, and I'm not the only Hawk fan in this thread who has that opinion. I don't hate Iowa State, that's the long and short of it. So what? That doesn't mean I don't love the Hawks. I guess that gets on your nerves, and I don't care. You sound like one of those fans that gets on MY nerves: biggest "diehards" when the team is winning, and among the first to turn their backs when the team is losing. See what I did there?

Not clean by any means but if you are going to suspend for that, you will have a lot more suspensions coming. I just actually saw in the news that contact and dirty acts happen in football. I was shocked.

Doesn't surprise me that you found that out on the news. God knows you don't learn anything about football watching ISU.
