Does Joe Pa coach the remainder of the season?

My guess is there is a conduct clause in the contract that relates to anything that reflects on a negative legal light to the university can be grounds for dismissal.

This. There are two distinct issues at play here: requirements under Pennsylvania law (prosecutors have said he is not a target of their investigation, and in fact it appears he would be a witness against Sandusky), and what was required of him by the university (including his contract, university code of conduct, administrative procedures). The latter, as well as public opinion, will be what forces him out.

I bet he lasts until the end of the season.

I'm not saying your arguments are wrong at heart, but I think legally, they may be without standing.

He'll make it through the end of the season.

But he is an 85 year old guy without a contract for next season. It'd be extremely hard for him to win a wrongful termination lawsuit, and I'd be utterly shocked if he even considered one.

They have 3 more regular season games, he will finish remainder of season and whatever bowl then my guess is he will step down (retire). Since he has legally done nothing "wrong" they wont force him out, morally that is a different story.
