Does Iowa Get A Bowl At 6-6?

So if Minny sent 10,000 to a bowl, Iowa would send 100,000,000? Awesome!

Here in Nashville, the Music City Bowl had Minnesota three times, and they brought, 3,000 fans, at best, on average.
The worst attended bowl for Iowa was the Outback Bowl after the 2008 season.

I think we could get at least 15,000 to the Gator Bowl, and I'm very confident that the Gator Bowl would take a 6-6 Iowa team.

Sadly there are about 97 bowl games now so pretty much every team "gets a ribbon." I am sure it is fun for the players... I have just always felt that finishing .500 is not bowl worthy. But there are enough corporations willing to attach their name and spend the money... so the players might as well enjoy it... even if it is in Detroit...

Even if Nebraska finishes 7-5, and somehow Iowa finishes 8-4, I still think that the Outback would take Nebraska.

In such a scenario, Iowa would have won their final 3 games, and Nebraska would have cratered, lost their last game to Iowa, and fired their coach. I think this would be one of the few times Iowa would be chosen over Nebby.

unless NIU is in Detroit as the MAC representatie (Isn't the Piza bowl for the MAC champ?)

I want another shot at them. To my knowledge, Ferentz has never lost to the same MAC team twice in the same year, so I think we'd be a lock.

Not gonna lie.....I wont be mad if they go to nashville. I like the town and its like a 7 hr drive. If its detroit Ill go but it will be kinda dumb. 2hr drive and Ill be tailgating a casino with the hood.

Not gonna lie...Big 10 not affiliated with any bowl game in Nashville. And to previous poster. 30000 are not going to watch a 6-6 team.
