Does Iowa fall out of the rankings?

I'm confused... the link shows us 24th in the Coaches poll.

The question posed by OP was "Does Iowa fall out of the standings?" The answer, at least according to the USA poll is "No, they don't."

Just saying it looks exactly like last years' team at the end of the year (which I guess makes sense) but yet we were supposed to be so much better?! My comments were more directed at the kool-aid and lollypop crowd who thought we were going to just roll over everyone and end up top of the B1G...I don't see it. Will we make the NCAA tourney? Most definitely. Just as a 12 seed and not a 5/6.

We are currently shooting 37.9% from 3 point range...big improvement from last season. This isn't just 1 guy being hot either. McCabe (52%), Uthoff (50%), Jok (34.6%), Clemmons (57.1%) and Gesell (40.9%) are all shooting at a higher 3 point percentage than the team did collectively last year.

I don't think we are going to roll over everyone...haven't seen many posts that suggest we will. I do think we will be somewhere in the 3 to 6 range when it comes to our NCAA seed. Your prediction is absolutely ridiculous...means we're somewhere between 45th and 48th in the country.

I don't drink kool-aid and I don't care all that much for lolly pops but I most definitely stand my signature prediction.

Really??? This is the same set of starters that we had last year. Sure, Jok and Uthoff are new but haven't done much of anything and aren't good enough to start. So, we have same team who has now over 1 year of actual game experience under their belts and we ALMOST lose to Xavier (who sucks), pummel UTEP (who sucks) and then pizz away a huge lead against 'Nova. Same as last year - we can beat the bad to mediocre teams but get owned by anybody at the level of Baylor, etc.

REALLY, FOOL.....

Only an idiot would not notice the improvement every year since the Lick years. We might have been the worst team in Division One when Fran took over. Nobody wanted to come to Iowa. Uthoff went to Wisconsin. Please attempt to relate to facts when your pea-sized brain assembles something that resembles an intelligent thought.....

It really gets tiresome trying to explain the recent history of Iowa Basketball under Lick and now Fran and the difference and improvement against incredible odds that have occurred due to Fran's guidance. He has done a remarkable job.....

Do yourself a favor and everyone who reads these forums and stop watching Iowa Basketball since it causes you such incredible pain and misery. You sound like you need some sort of life.....

Take your high blood pressure pills and calm down. This is sound advice.....

We still are in as we should be. I thought it strange that Villanova jumps from out of the polls to Number 7 in the CBS Sports Poll and the Top 25[And One] Poll while the Hawks dropped out of their polls.

If nothing else we took the number 7 team to overtime which could help our RPI, the team that defeated number 2 Kansas. Looking for the Silver Cloud's Lining......

They did beat two top 10 quality teams in back to back nights.
