Does anyone think they can turn it around?

the offense IS fixable if the coaches are willing to do what's needed. The defense is another story

The defense should be fixable to since it's almost the same as last year. Unless Fisher, Meier and Lomax were that irreplaceable.

Yes, we can. Teams in both the NFL and college football get off to poor starts and, through hard work, turn things around and start winning games. If the team works hard, thinks positively, and strives for teamwork and harmony it can be turned around. Question is, will those things happen?

Iowa has turned bad seasons around before. But there was more talent available to work with. Unless Coach can pull a couple of offensive and defensive linemen out of his backside. There isn't much chance of even getting to bowl edibility this year.

No, I don't see it. After we get blown out by Minnesota, the only other real chances at victory we have are Illinois and Purdue. But it won't matter. An ass-kicking by Minnesota will drop us down so far into the hole, mentally, that we won't be able to recover.

I just don't see how you magically fix the problems on the line overnight. We haven't even hit the toughest part of the season, when injuries and such start cropping up.
