Yes, but if Lick and comapny are around next year it will be very hard for me to tune in or even give a crap. Barta is going to lose everyone that ever was associated to Iowa Basketball if he doesn't make a change.

Same for me. I am now at the ****** off stage. This is embarrassing and I miss Iowa BB being somewhat relevant.

loess...you know it's too late for staff changes. Lick will be dang lucky to get one more year and it won't make a difference on what staff he has. There won't be enough progress to keep him around, so as far as I'm concerned, he's nothing more or nothing less than a "lame duck" coach.
Plus, what assistant in his right mind would come work for Lick right now? Only the one's who are out of a job because they couldn't get it done at their last stop.

Yes, I watched the whole game today. Oh wait, your poll was about the men's basketball team, I was watching the women's. My caring about the men's BB was pretty dead at the beginning of the season and never really fostered. I think I watched the Iowa/IU game, only because I had a little money on the game. That is about it.

I still care, but I just want the team to be halfway competitive to give me a reason to watch the entire game. When they get down by 15+ in the first 10 minutes, I have other more productive things I can find to do than watch the rest. I don't care if they lose this many again next year, just make most of them close to the end.

I care and I can't ever see myself not caring.
That being said I'm not sure I have ever been so frustrated and I think it is time for a change because I've lost faith in Lick being able to get the job done.

The women's team actually gives me hope. They play hard, never quit, and have the talent to play in the conference. Ohio State proved why they are the best team in the conference today in that championship game.
I guess I care about the men's team. I didn't expect them to win 10 games this year so I guess they exceeded my expectations. I guess when you don't have any expectations for the team it is hard to get bothered by the losses that keep piling up.
My lack of expectations did not start with Lickliter though. I stopped having any sort dreams about winning teams when Alford couldn't coach the 3rd seeded Hawks to a victory against Northwestern State.

You can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig folks and the product that Lickliter is putting on the floor is pure unadulterated garbage. I care very much about Iowa Basketball as a program, but I am completely detached emotionally when I watch this team play. I simply don't care if they win or lose anymore. I'm not sure why I am watching at this point when I know they are going to lose by 20+. Force of habit I guess, because I have watched every game since the mid 80's.
