Isn't that supposed to be how you make decisions? Who needs to look at a campus or get a feel for the campus you are going to spend the next 4 years in. It's much easier just considering an offer based on the name of the university and the coach actively doing the recruiting. I'd recommend flipping a coin or drawing a name out of hat, since its much easier to do then feeling things out on your own and making a visit.

So far from what he has told the Rivals guys he has not and is not looking to schedule a visit to Lincoln. May still change but that was based off a text from him about an hour ago.

Did you even bother to look at any video or read any recruiting write ups or just look at his scholarship offer list and judge him?

Yeah, if coach would have put him in the game in the 4th quarter, they would have been state champs no doubt in his mind. Then he would have made it all the way to the NFL and he would have found his soul mate, spending the rest of his life chilling out in a hot tub.

Veii tweeted he also has received a late Nebby offer even though up until now they were never in the picture. Pelini is quickly replacing Biels as the number one poacher of Iowa evaluated talent.

Smith and Veii will come to their senses and commit to the good guys. They will realize that playing for Pelini is like playing for your alcoholic uncle, and even when he's calm he's yelling.
 
Why would Smith commit to a school without a WR coach? SO DUMB that we waited so long to post the wr coaching position. It is the reason why Lemelle didn't come to Iowa and probably the reason Smith won't either. Veii is going to stay in Maryland btw...

So he doesn't deserve a scholarship because you weren't good enough for one. Makes absolute sense. Go away nerd.

No, what is SO DUMB, is that because ONE KID didn't commit for that reason you think NO ONE would commit for that reason.

If that were true why would the kids who committed but don't know who their WR coach is stay committed?

I have listed the three WRs that have committed so far.

Damond Powell - Yahoo! Sports

Derrick Willies - Yahoo! Sports

Derrick Mitchell Jr. - Yahoo! Sports

Yes, lets totally rehash an issue that has affected 1 maybe 2 POSSIBLE recruits, not to mention the fact that it hasn't affected any committed players.

Just because 5* players in the past didn't work out, doesn't mean Iowa SHOULDN'T try to get them.

Maybe Iowa should continue trying to win games with walk-ons and 2* guys with little real athletic talent. Yeah that worked out great the last two years.

Attrition hurt us far more than the recruiting classes did.
