If Stormin posts that stupid crap, I'll lose all respect for him. Iowa won this game. Wisky clanks in a 3 with 15 seconds left that had no business going in, and then Oglesby misses a wide open White under the basket. Unbelievable

That's rough, man. I may disagree with Stormin on politics and government policy, but he's a decent guy, bleeds black and gold like the rest of us, has often interesting takes on Iowa athletics and contributes good stuff on beer and food.

I'm into math and logics and stuff and find the winning percentage trend lines interesting.

It wasn't Oglesby that missed him, it was Gessel. JO had no good angle to get that pass in with a man in his face. Thats a slip screen that the PG needs to hit.

Iowa up 9 pts with over 6 min to go - 81% win percentage.

4th B1G game like this for Iowa.
 
After one team blows a lead multiple times with the chances of winning being, those percentages. One has to question the reliability of the percentages.

Or simply question a teams ability to close out a close game.
 
I'll say that this team has a 100% chance of not making an NCAA appearance if they cannot figure out how to close out a game and make shots and play defense when the game is on the line. ARGH SO FRUSTRATING!!!!

They kind of go hand in hand. Either you take the percentages at face value and you are assuming that Iowa is one of the unluckiest teams ever. Or you assume that something is going on with Iowa's ability to close, meaning percentages like that are flawed.

Having watched Iowa blow these leads, I would lean towards the second option. While we have gotten a tad unlucky, they do dumb things down the stretch.
