Maybe I'm a little old fashioned in this regard, but if DJK is looking to do right by his mistakes it's going to take a helluva lot more than a few random tweets to do so. And it's not the adult fans he should really be focused on. It's the the young fans that he set a bad example for. A lot of them adored him. Most of them don't have twitter, so they won't be reading these tweets. He needs to just pipe it for awhile, take his plea, and eventually make a public statement to all his young fans admitting he made mistakes and make the most of his 2nd chance.

No, he needs to STFU because he is on trial for drug possesion, and needs to protect his own behind. He needs to stop talking about the program because he is no longer a part of the program, and his assosciation with the program is a black eye.

DJK Screwed up but he did represent the U of I for a very long time without any issue. I think many of you are way over the top with this. He screwed up.
