really like what Van Kley has been able to do with this program being a simpson alum i know how hard it is to get good kids to your program with wartburg, coe and luther taking a lot of the better in state kids. impressive

Good post Pin, I got the predicament at the IWOCA meeting a couple weeks ago with the previews. I went to the Simpson "meet the team" practice last weekend. They have ALOT of youth...can be positive in the future but need some impact guys right away. Not sure if I saw any hammers at the practice but Manny has got them motivated and more numbers in the room.

Not all the rest of the schools in the conference have lightened ACT requirements. Other schools compete w/o letting every kid in.

But i will agree with you that the kids Wartburg can get in give them a huge advantage against school who can't do the same thing. But that's the way it goes.
