Devyn Marble Summer League Mix







I really like Devyn. He is cool as cucumbers. Ice water running in his veins. He is money, and probably will only get better......
 


I like Marble too, but he has had a lot of distractions going into his junior year. With people talking about him turning pro, it must be pretty distracting for some nineteen or twenty year old kid (he is pretty young for being a junior in college). He has a lot of confidence, but confindence without hard work won't get you very far unless your one of the few great athletes in the world. Marble is a good athlete, but I doubt few would call him elite. I think he will have a good year. Hopefully, he doesn't take all the hype that seriously.
 




Dev is definitely a cool cat. That's what I like about him the most. He doesn't get phased one bit, no matter the spectacle of the game. His nickname should be the Iceman, or something in those regards. He is very stoic in his play.
He seemed to grow into his shot last year, probably because he is still growing into his body. He is one young dude! He won't be 20 until mid-season! He will continue to bring it throughout the year. And it will be fun to see...
I agree with spank, he will improve because of his work ethic & make great strides again this year. He is one player that after he graduates next year, we will be wishing we had him one more year. Probably more than any Hawkeye in a long, long time.
 


i think devyn's age plays a big part in why he will have an even better yr and another big jump in production. most kids have a jump from frosh to soph yrs...but he is so young he is still developing and growing into his man body. this could play into him making more big strides. his age is more like a soph than junior.
 


I think that is true. He grew in height throughout his freshman year, where most males peak in height growth by their there sophmore or junior years in high school.
I cannot wait until that first tipoff...

I think Basabe is only six months older than Marble, so he should of matured a lot since last year too.
