Clearly there are a lot of people who enjoy bashing the Hawks. Marble ended 2012 on a hot streak and playing well. If that had continued in 2012-13, there would have been consideration for NBA. However, injury and shooting slump put that aside. I think it was his father who said something last summer so talked about it then.

Bash him all you want but Marble is Iowa's best player and will be leading team in NIT.

I suspect White will also have a very good tournament. Conference teams have seen him for 2 years and rarely let him get behind the defense for break out dunks. I bet he gets a few of those during our NIT run...however long it lasts. These teams also won't be as physical as Big Ten teams. White should be much more effective on the inside...along with the rest of the front line.
