Destin McCauley commits to ISU

Peterson is still in high school and they have not had signing period yet. Thielke was the other Wisky commit that went to the OTC and I expect that he and Peterson will both still end up at Wisconsin.

Hey Brett go away. I know a lot about wrestling. I've had season wrestling tickets for 10 years - have been going to meets for 30 and wrestled my entire school career.

Why don't you go hang out in your own forum? Oh yeah - because it sucks.

Jackson is a terrible coach and ISUs program is a joke right now. What place did you guys come in last year? Good thing you had Reader or it would have been beyond pathetic.

No you don't. If you did, you would know how respected Jackson is in the wrestling community. You have no idea how much better ISU will be. Most of the real Hawkeye wrestling fans are very respectful of all the Iowa programs. This post was started by an Iowa fan, BTW. Sorry you don't are about ISU, but you don't have to post.

Ok you tell me what I do and don't know. I post in the wrestling forum frequently. I post on the site frequently period. Why don't you go back and look - especially when it's wrestling season. Yeah - I don't post as much offseason - same with football. Like most people.

So now you are going to call me an idiot. I don't have to resort to personal insults when I'm behind a keyboard. I'll make comments about a program and a coach - you'll make comments about a poster you don't know. Typical cyclone fan.

Again - go over to Cyclonefanatic where you belong.

Lots of people are respected in the wrestling community. That doesn't make them a good coach - and Jackson isn't. He's running the program into the ground while others are passing you by.

He's lucky he had Caels scraps the last few years.

This is the first years his wrestlers will hit the mat. Cael took every person he recruited and a lot that were on the team with him to PSU. That is running the program into the ground. Bubba Jenkins, who beat David Taylor last year in the 157 finals, wanted to come to ISU after Cael became their coach, but he wouldn't release him to ISU. Cael is the primary reason our program hit its current dry spell. This will be the year to see where Jackson is taking us.

Jackson walked into Varner, Zabriskie, Reader, Fanthorpe, Gallick and Mueller. A potent team. Cael hardly gutted them.

Yes, but MT recruiting classes will hurt any program. ISU also didn't hire a coach in a current program, so he couldn't bring his guys along, like Brands was able to do for Iowa with Slaton, Metcalf, and LeClere. Like I said, we are still making baby steps. I fully expect Iowa to beat ISU in the dual this year. But I also expect about every match to be tight.

I don't see the match being very tight. Where is ISU going to make hay? I'd like to see the breakdown. If things start at 125 it's going to get ugly fast. McD, Ramos and Marion aren't going to get much of a test IMO.

Really, I think Iowa wins by major or worse at 125,133,141, and 157 (yes St. John will major Moreno) and I think ISU gets a major at 197.

That is half the weights that could possibly have major decisions or worse.
