Depth Chart Changes Squashed By Ferentz

Like I've tried to explain to you simpletons time and time again, KF does NOT decide who's where on the depth chart...the position coaches do. The idea that he has enough time to go to every position group, everyday, and evaluate who should be playing shows once again what a complete moron you are and that you know ABSOLUTELY nothing about how a college football team operates. But thanks for your 'opinion', lol.......

No way in hell a kid plays in an Iowa uniform unless KF gives the ok. He may not do the depth chart but he has final say in who plays and how much along with offensive & defensive play calls, who gets a scholarship offer, etc.

Well tell us how it works and how KF decides the depth chart for EVERY position, lol.... Freakin high school head coaches let their position coaches make those decisions because they 'see' them everyday. Seriously, tell us how it works!!! You have no clue.....Now get back to your drive thru window and get those orders out....

Seriously, for gaaaawd sakes, obviously Ferentz is in constant contact and correspondence with the position coaches and they decide as a group. If you don't think Ferentz has a say, you are delusional. Ferentz has a finger in every part of the operation, that's what type of guy he is, anal retentive and a perfectionist. Actually, that could be his one downfall is that he is a perfectionist and certain players don't see the field unless they are flawless, and his teams don't play loose secondary to this.

Somebody has to let KF know that the college game doesn't have to be perfect.

Croston gave up 4 sacks??? Lol....what game were you watching? I'm still waiting to hear about your position of 'authority', lol.........

When watching the replays, every time a sack was happening I'd see the number 64 chasing the rusher or getting bull rushed. It was at least 3 times and probably 4.

He had a horrible game, and generally has been a below average pass blocker. Anyone who thinks otherwise is only lying to themselves.

He had very slow lateral movement to keep the outside rush from happening. I clearly remember him getting bull rushed right up the middle of him. You can't be bad at both techniques.

He got toasted on the pick 6 a few weeks ago too. I still don't know what happened there. CJ and Croston weren't ready for the snap but everyone else was.

You are absolutely correct. So that means that recruiting has been less than Power 5 for a couple of years (this is highly probable) OR Phil Parker has no idea what he's doing and/or Phil Parker is incapable of putting the kids he has in a position to be successful. Any of these scenarios means the Barta Proclamation (contract extension) smells worse than we even thought!

Again biggest issue is the OL is getting their ARSES beat and the DL is getting their ARSES beat and the coaching staff has no clue what to do based on the kids they've recruited and how they've developed or not developed. I won't comment on any players but if you look at film you'll see some really problematic stuff blocking and tackling.

Q: If two (2) runaway trains coming from different directions wear bearing down on a tied up Brandon Syder and Plez Atkins at the same time, how bad would both players miss getting hit?

Just wondering.....

Thank god Rudy didn't play for Kirk. He never would have had a movie made after him because he would have just been another name in a long list of walk on starters.
He'd work hard and do some good things too. He'd still be quite a story coming though. Coming from Po-dunk Iowa to the big city and making it big by doing some good things.

I remember people telling me that Brandon Snyder was going to make me forget Jordan Lomax...well, I still remember him.
