get a few 3 pts leads in OT and give up easy looks every time.

What about the offense that overcame an eight point deficit to force OT, thanks in part to that same defense.get a few 3 pts leads in OT and give up easy looks every time.

Down two starters, he has to nut up or transfer to Drake.I actually put it more on Brickfort's shooting in regulation.
to put it in perspective how bad our defense was in ot... we gave up 18 pts in OT in 5 min...What about the offense that overcame an eight point deficit to force OT, thanks in part to that same defense.
Don’t know about the signature part but yeah didn’t see the intensity on D that I saw through the entire ISU game. Maybe 3 games in 6 days could be a contributor.get a few 3 pts leads in OT and give up easy looks every time.

ISU also was just not present mentally as much as it was Iowa. Intensity helps but you still need fundamentals.Don’t know about the signature part but yeah didn’t see the intensity on D that I saw through the entire ISU game. Maybe 3 games in 6 days could be a contributor.
In terms of Off-Spring though....would have been nice to see Kingsbury get the shots that Brickfort was getting. It's lack of athleticism and length. Also missing very basic fundamentals which has gone on forever under Fran. Never changes.
Someday he's going to have to recruit other than his own family, offspring of former players and a few others tied to people he knows.
The real problem is recruiting. He's lazy? Don't know except he was trying to recruit a local kid and when the Hawks came to Champaign, an assistant showed up to watch him, not Fran. Thad Motta and Bruce Webber were both there to watch this kid and of course Bates-Diopp.
ya fatigue was likely a factor.Don’t know about the signature part but yeah didn’t see the intensity on D that I saw through the entire ISU game. Maybe 3 games in 6 days could be a contributor.
Ya, but Kingsbury played with better threats and had an overall more balanced game then.In terms of Off-Spring though....would have been nice to see Kingsbury get the shots that Brickfort was getting.
Ya. I agree....Fran still does not have a complete team.....I'm not sure he ever really has...in terms of being solid at every position.Ya, but Kingsbury played with better threats and had an overall more balanced game then.
Well, then I guess Fran’s teams are pretty much like everyone else’s. Dumb post, Hayden.Ya. I agree....Fran still does not have a complete team.....I'm not sure he ever really has...in terms of being solid at every position.
Ya, except the ones who have made the Sweet 16 or better.Well, then I guess Fran’s teams are pretty much like everyone else’s. Dumb post, Hayden.
Fatigue a factor? Understatement. Gard moved guys in and out the entire game. Used 10+ players. Never knew who was playing. Wore us out, plain and simple. We played a freshman, a walk on, while missing our best player and our best PG. BTW. Sanford belongs on the court. His floor game contributions are solid. We better all hope his 3’s start to fall, or we are in trouble. Keep shooting, Payton. And keep making the 2 pointers. They count, too.ya fatigue was likely a factor.
however ive just seen it so much over the years.
Yeah. That is one measure. Last time I checked there are lots of teams that have not made the 16.Ya, except the ones who have made the Sweet 16 or better.
