Defending Iowa's program

---------So allow one of these elite coaches to come into Iowa City and Dirty it up enough to win for 2/3 years only to high tail it to another gig in year 4 and leave the Program in Shambles once they are done.. To that I say NO THANKS!!

Very tired excuse for remaining mediocre........an excuse for not even considering "what could be"

You probably need to consider the high-points as well as the seasonal average. The average record is just so-so, but the 5 top-10 finishes during his tenure is pretty good.

KF has 6 total top 25 finishes with 5 top 10 finishes.
HF has 10 total top 25 finishes; including 8 out of 11 seasons. Out of those 10, he has 2 top 10 finishes.

KF will not be able to match HF's total top 25 finishes in his first 20 seasons. KF is hit or miss and HF was way more consistent and won more consistently.
