Watch Josey Jewell's latest HN interview if you haven't already. You can tell he wants to murder the guy and put to rest all the Allen hype.

Yeah he sure had the 'let's just play ball already' attitude. I'm fired up knowing they have a true freshman at center... That kid's head will be spinning like crazy. First game ever on the road in Kinnick and he's gotta snap the ball and try protecting Allen... I hope we mix in some blitzes for Jewell right up the gut a few times to test him out. Jewel has to be licking his chops.

Not to mention losing pretty much all their receivers and their running back.
 
I'm not one to want to see him knocked out of the game but I would like to see him getting up slower and slower after each hit shaking off a sore arm and picking grass out of his helmet and remembering what a Big10 "D" is all about. I doubt we see many Blitz as I'm sure Parker will be saving those for the game on the 9th. If our D-line can pressure Allen with just 4 it will keep little sister in suspense and off guard for the next week.

Yeah we've done the whole withholding of our playbook to try and bust it out later... Not a fan of that. I say do what it takes to get up early and win big every game if you can. The more you give future teams to plan for the better anyway. You can always change your strategy game to game or series to series.

Yea, I don't want any player knocked out of the game, but I do want the D to get into his head.
I see the ends containing the outside while letting the pocket collapse with our interior studs like JJ and others.
