Davis has no concept of game management

This guy truly is one lousy offensive coordinator and play caller.

Last week we get the ball late with the score tied near the 50 yard line. We had been running the ball very well. Overtime games favor the home team. What does he do? He makes his inexperienced, nervous first year QB throw a very difficult out pattern on first down. WTF?

Today, we are leading 21-7. We are murdering Mo State up front. They have just scored. Do we impose our will? No, on first down he throws a very tough, risky pass right over the middle. It is intercepted and they score again.

This guy is a moron and should not be calling the plays.

FYI: in a pass play, multiple receivers go out for a pass. GD didn't call "throw a difficult out pattern".

I think he calls an 80% good game. But it's the other 20% of calls he makes that almost negate the 80% good plays he calls.

QB checked at the line because of a blitz on the pick 6 today.

Not going to rag too much on Davis today, but the WR coach is doing a terrible job as well as most of the guys at that position.

Also when you have the ball and a 2 TD lead with 5 minutes left it's really important to continue to run a no huddle hurry up O.

So he fits right in.

Finally found that common thread between him and Kurt, because they appear to be polar opposites scheme wise.

This year's WR coach is doing approximately 300 times better than last year's. The QB and receivers are actually on the same page for most plays.

This gives us a real shot at Top 100 passing offense. Do the math, Einstein, and you'll find that would mean: improvement!

Yes because dropped balls are a great thing. There were 4 today. That's not improvement.

Spot on!!

I was at the game but missed the part where the receivers coach dropped four passes. Or are you implying that he actually coaches the players to drop those passes, therefore he is a bad coach? Shumpert and Cotton barely saw the field after their drops, and that to me is good coaching.

I hate to pile on....but I think it seems like we have no identity on offense. Our personnel is better suited for a grind it out game. Seems like the coaches don't want to fully commit to that. I do like it when they spread it out and then run the ball because it gets defenders out of the box. I also think when we get into that formation Bullock and Canzeri should be the backs unless we are in the red zone. They are so much shiftier and elusive than Weisman and are better suited on the zone read play. Would also be nice if they let the QB keep the ball on the read play also. On a couple of those plays the D-Ends were not honoring the QB at all on that play. Just my two cents.

Does this guy think that the OC tells the QB which players to throw it to?

The INT today was 10000000% Rudock's fault.
