I don't know what the answer to this, but I wonder what the Texas offense has been ranked since GD left?

EDIT: Just looked it up. 2011 54th in offense. 2012 23rd in offense. Didn't GD's offense usually finish top 10 or 20 nationally? I guess Iowa fans cried about KOK for years, and when they replace him, they cry about the replacement......I'm sure Texas fan does the same.

You should check out the Texas forum. You guys are very timid and shy on these forums. They don't like anybody. No correct that they despise all of them. After their a$$ kicking tonight they probably still say it's G D fault.
 
Not sure if KF sat down and explained to GD that Iowa has a good offensive line and some good running backs and some excellent tight ends, but they definitely worked on those things yesterday. Finally. Not impressed with anything GD has done so far. Offense is still behind schedule. Execution is not where it should be. Pass patterns are basic. Very little deep throws. Jake is doing a good job but he needs some on hands coaching. In particular his tendency to hold on to the ball. He needs to be making a decision and go with it. Offensively Iowa is establishing Jake as a running threat which defense's will have to respect. More QB running plays. Establish the run. Quick passes. Establish a deep threat. Where was Powell yesterday? Or any long pass to keep the defense off the line.
 
We aren't showing anything right now. We are saving it all up for next week's Super Bowl. There is a offensive firestorm brewing. By the end of the season we should look similar to the Nebraska game last year.
 
Name me a fan base that loves their OC!?!? A lot of arm chair QBs think they have the answer. Some of you say we dont run enough. The past years all you've bitched about is running too much. We are less predictable with our passing game, I have noticed that. I wouldnt call it creative, but better than last year. If we dont turn it over, we most likely win week one and we are 2-0. Wasnt his play calling that caused the fumbles/int. All coordinators look good with a good team. We arent that good right now, hopefully we will imprive quickly.
 
You actually think Iowa is going to improve as long as their defense stinks? Concentrate on the shortcomings of Iowa's defense.. At least, when Iowa's defense returns to some semblance of its former dominant self, Iowa will be in some close games....
