Robinson also isn't a good fit in the kind of offense that Hoke wants to run. So in some ways, Robinson is a hindrance rather than an aid.

Hoke is 57-52 as a head coach, I'll wait some time before being convinced he'll bring Michigan back. Having the former Big Ten offensive player of the year is hardly a hindrance, you always adjust your team to your players.

The Big Ten is bringing Urban Meyer, added Nebraska, and will probably bring a big time coach to PSU. Michigan's assured return to the "big two" is anything but a given.

I'm not giving any look at his past record. I'm sold based on what he's done with the Michigan squad he inherited, the same crew that Dick Rod (the man who actually recruited those players for HIS system) couldn't win more than 7 games with. The defense that couldn't stop anyone suddenly became a solid unit. And he's got one of the top classes in the nation coming in.

Could it be that just RRods system was the problem. Not the coach or the players? 3/4 defense will never work in the B1G and the spread has not been as consistent as traditional offenses in the B1G. Who was the last non-traditional (pro-style) offense to win the big ten?
