I thought he was pretty positive about Iowa until they started (or more accurately didn't stop) playing like crap.
He said that Iowa had the height, length, talent and skill to be a final four team. He didn't know if they would develop the toughness. I think that is pretty positive--and accurate.
He's in love with Craft and Matta. Craft was the best player on the floor tonight and Matta was the best coach (we played at OSU's pace all night).
I think he nailed it.

His assessment of Craft was beyond over the top. Was he the best player on the floor tonight? Yes. Was it an outlier in relation to his other performances this year? Yes.
Dakich would take Craft before anyone else in college basketball. He said it on the air. I can easily think of at least 20 guys I'd take first.

Florida: Prather, probably Walker (obviously haven't seen him before tonight)
I'm sure if I dug a little, I'd find a lot more. These are just the guys who've got the name recognition for me. Is he terrible? No. But he's just stupid overrated because he's a short white guy who hustles (and does have some talent).

Did he go longer than 5 seconds without mentioning Aaron Craft?
They guy is awful, he says some things that are spot on then he drifts and focuses on his No. 1 pick.
I am glad I won't be watching Saturday and it is two fold; first, no Crotch Itch and second, I am sick of hitting rewind and watching the same game from Iowa every time on the floor.
Here is what I know I am going to get:
1. Refusal to make a post entry pass, other than to Gabe right now, when Iowa has four guys that are capable of posting against most teams.
2. Defense that is just not as good as it has been the past two years.
3. Watching guys settle for awful shots early in the shot clock.
4. "Best" players showing up in the second half when they seem to take themselves out the game by not being aggressive early.
5. The same guys bust their butts and get the same results.
This is a good team, but very frustrating to watch at times and have Crotch Itch calling games makes it that much more painful.
How is it Iowa goes 11 deep, but has longer than average scoring droughts and not being able to hit a FT consistently and cannot make a FG?
Did I mention having Crotch Itch analyzing makes me throw up a little?

I'd love to have Craft on our team. We would dominate. Anyone who says otherwise either is a giant doosher or Craft ****ed their girl

Like I said, he's not BAD. I'd take him, too. But take him over anyone in the country? Come on. I guarantee that at least one of the guys I listed, who are all vastly more talented, will step up and close in the national championship game. That clutch/heart/guts factor is the only thing Craft might have on those players. And he's not going to hold that advantage for long.

Position move for Loving, OSU is making him a PF when he played SF/SG before this season. I thought he would have a bigger impact playing that role, but he isn't, Matta will get his head right, no worries.
If you think that is why I don't like Crotch Itch, you haven't paid attention in the past.

Ennis is a better player than Craft today and JB believes he is head and shoulders above a lot of his great PG's in the past. I think Ennis impacts the game is as many ways as Craft, but he doesn't have the flair for the dramatic.

I love the Dak, brings a different perspective from most announcers, plus I told you Loving wasn't going to be B10 FOY before the season started.

Duder you said he's 'stupid overrated.' He just schooled iowa at carver with the students on his nuts and you say he's not bad? I never said I would take him over anyone in the country either. Don't be mad at the guy because he literally does everything we'd like to have. Not a good look

Dakich said he'd take him over any player in college basketball. He is NOWHERE near that good. I'd gladly take a guy like him, but he's not even close to as good as advertised.

How do you think Bruce Pearl feels about Craft? Didn't the picture of Craft at Pearl's house cost him his job? I guess BP feels the same way as Dan Dakich. My assessment of AC: limited in his abilities but plays his heart out. I would take him on my team but love to hate him as the opponent.

Good job, want a cookie? I didn't realize OSU was going to make him a post, no biggie, he is going to be a good player, great kid with a great attitude. Somewhat local kid like Nigel Hayes at Wisconsin, he has surprised me in a big way, given his attitude and history in HS.
DD is bad, he has one statement of sense and 50 ramblings about what players he would pick to win with, even if they aren't in the game...

Don't forget his 1st half rant about Iowa having bad nets, sticky nets, slow nets... Wtf was that all about? What a tool. Said Iowa used slow nets because Tom Davis needed time to set up his full court press. Biggest load of horse **** I ever heard.
