Well, if he said it, it must be true. It's funny how little Paterno supposedly knew.
In Paterno's last interview he said he didn't know about the first investigation.
I find this part extremely hard to believe. Wouldnt Paterno be one of the first people questioned if his DC was being investigated for abusing boys at PSU facilities?
How could the authorities not question Sandusky's direct boss and the person who probably spent the most time around Sandusky?
Where are the names of the investigators of the 1998 event? Why are they not named in Bernsteins witchhunt? Or the other police authorities or district attorneys that did not pursue this matter? No, it is all on Paterno. He is the one. He was all-powerful,but gee, he did get fired, so someone had authority over him. Paterno should take some heat, but lets list McQuery, and all those other 40 people in every single article on this scandal. But no, Joe is the easy target. Bernstein demanded that Franco Harris and all the rest go to that service and excoriate Paterno, condemn him in strongest terms, in front of his family....that is what Bernstein demanded....and of course he is the arbiter of all that is right in this world. He is all-knowing of every single detail of this case, just ask him. ...cuz he read the grand jury leaked summary, which contained only some of the testimony...the testimony the prosecution wanted out there to get an indictment.
You don't get what the root of his anger along with most others at 670 is. That's your problem and you likely never will. For that I feel sorry for you.
He's a rabble-rousing muckraking mercenary. Righteous indignation for profit. What he and his ilk are not are shining beacons of truth and justice for all.You don't get what the root of his anger along with most others at 670 is. That's your problem and you likely never will. For that I feel sorry for you.
You don't get it either...
Why do people praise a guy who harbored and enabled a child rapist?
The correct answer would be you don't! No matter what good they have done throughout their life.
I do get it - anyone that doesn't see things as you do doesn't get it - now look up the definition of bigotry. Get it?Also see if you can notice where I "praised a guy that harbored and enabled a child rapist." All I did was paint an unflattering portrait of someone you seem to admire. You then jumped to a conclusion and put words in my mouth. You don't get it either...Why do people praise a guy who harbored and enabled a child rapist? The correct answer would be you don't! No matter what good they have done throughout their life.
What you don't get is how some of us are just wondering why the police investigators of the 1998 case, the one who Sandusky admitted they he did wrong, and showered with a boy, these police professionals did not pursue the case, yet nobody knows their names. Who is more responsible, the professional police authorities who are experts in criminal investigations,or the college football coach who reported it to the authorities in charge of crime on PSU campus? I have not heard Bernstein mention those detectives. They must be blameless. They could have stopped all of the molestations from 1998 forward, but forget them...Joe is better talkradio business for B & B.
You make my point...it is odd that Paterno wouldn't have known.
