When will people learn it's the system at Wisconsin? If it weren't Brust, it would be some other unathletic guy putting up numbers for them.




Brust is nothing special. He'll put up numbers in the Wisconsin system just like other forgettable names have in the past. He'll go through earlier than expected NCAA tourney losses. Then he'll graduate and have zero chance of playing in the NBA. We've seen this routine many times before.

I would take Taylor in a heartbeat, I would be very satisfied with Bo's success, give Fran time we have a long ways to go, but next years freshman will help.

I would have loved to have Brust and was very sorry to see him go. I think he will be special and I think he will be a big thorn in our side for the next three years. But, if he REALLY wanted to be a Hawk, he would be. So be it!

We would have gotten Gessel. No way we dont bring in multple PGs in that class even with Brust.

did you bother looking at his offer list?

How many of those offers were before he decommitted in the spring? Those spring recruits see their offer list blow up because teams all of a sudden have unexpected openings to fill. Brust is a good role player for Wisconsin because all he has to do is spot up and fire away.

If he was on this Iowa team he would be struggling like everyone else because he can't create his own shot. He is quite similar to Gatens where he is a good role player on a good team (what Gatens should be). If he is expected to carry a team there will be trouble much like Iowa is seeing when Gatens is expected to be the man.
