They finally knock off the vaunted...Pirates...1-5 versus the Bucs, baby!

And a special shout out to the big group of Hawk fans in the black t-shirts...got a good glimpse of you all during "Go Cubs Go" at the end of the game! Well done!
 
Go Red Sox!! sorry had to I apologize. Jeff Clement homered yesterday I saw. Was good to see him get outta his slump.
 
The Cubs are blowing hard this year. They lose all of the games there supposed to win. Why on this earth is Vegas pegging them in favorites so often. Probably cause us idiot Cub fans still believe they will win. This team is really underacheiving. Time for Sweet Lou to hit the Dusty Trail....

I don't know tank...it's not Lou's fault they have no bullpen outside of Marshall and Marmol and that no one can hit with runners in scoring position...the players need to get their heads out of their a$$es and Lee and Ramirez need to remember they're Lee and freakin' Ramirez.
 
Like it or not...If the players aren't playing up to their potential it all falls in the lap of coach or manager, regardless if its his fault or not. Don't get me wrong, I love Sweet Lou, but just feels like he is on the verge of losing his team. Hope he and the Cubs can turn it around, otherwise Sweet Lou will be hitting the Dusty 'ol Trail...

Ramirez has been swinging the bat better as of late, but unfortunately he's hit a lot of balls right at people.

He has...I think he'll come out of it eventually. I didn't like what Kappy said a couple of weeks ago on Matt & Miller though...when the Cubs hitting coach asked Aramis if he could help him with a few things and Aramis said, "no thanks...I can get out of my own slumps"...considering his slump has lasted a month and a half, I'd like to see a little less ego aimed at a guy who is considered the best hitting coach in the business.
