Cubs-Reds today

ESPN MLB schedule has Suppan vs. Silva (Clash of the Titans!). I am sure it may be Gallardo, but the Cards lit him up after he signed his big contract. Let's hope the offense wakes up at Wrigley.

Looks like you're right, the Tribune has Suppan going in the finale as well. I was looking at the Cubs website, and you'd think they would get something like that right.

With the pitching matchups, the Cubs should win this series.

Was at the game yesterday. Huge Cubs fan. Most memorable moment of the game for me was watching Soriano drop the fly ball down the third base line. He keeps this up, he will soon become the most hated Cub in history. I like the guy, but sheesh, what the heck does this guy do in his off time that he can't work on his fielding skills so he can make basic plays to just not humiliate himself every week?

Wil be watching today. Go Cubs!

He was quoted in the Tribune as saying that he was thinking about running into the wall, which is something we've all seen him do. There are at least 1/2 a dozen instances a year where he'll turn an out into a double because he is afraid of getting hurt.

The next ball he dives for will the first.

That was not a good play by Soriano. Lou was not happy either as he glared into LF when making the pitching change and then double switching Colvin into LF later.

I wonder if it will ever be possible with his contract to get him back to the AL.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but the Cubs won the home opener today vs. Brewers. That is all! :)
