Cook?

Missouri was 9-23 last year, and they are not trending up too much. Playing time could be argued, as such could be for any miserable team... That said, Iowa is going to be losing 2 of our best post players. So, not only the chance for major PT exists. But the chance to start as a freshman - for a known Good ball club. One finishing at the top of their league, not the bottom.
Fran definitely has more to sell than that club a few miles to the south...

Has Cook made his official visit yet??

Kriener of Iowa is claiming a Missouri offer so maybe Missouri isn't to sure about getting Cook. I would like to see Iowa get Cook and another big. Kriener to Iowa is possible. Iowa is in on a lot of quality big guys.

Kriener had a very good July. Picked up an offer form Missouri and Witcha St. also sounds like Wisconsin is taking a look at him as well and could possibly offer.

Thank you deano. I watched a 2 min youtube. He looks like a true post player that has range and can run the floor a little bit. Definitely take Cook first, but Kriener would be a good fallback choice.

Agreed, Cook is the top priority for Fran at PF for sure. I think Iowa was slow playing Kriener to see what happened with some other guys first. It think Iowa could take Kriener if they miss on a Painter and Rakocevic. If Iowa was slow playing him, but really liked him, we will see an Iowa offer here shortly.

Kids that blow up late are the kind of kids you want (other than really high ranked kids). Their ceilings are much higher than the ones who hover around the same ranking their whole high school career.

Link to this "phenomenon" or is that just your flapping gums again?
