Iowa turnover margin stats for the following years:

2002: +16 (2nd in B1G, 12th in nation)..16 lost turnovers...11 wins
2003: +4..21 lost turnovers...10 wins
2004: +15, #6 in nation...19 lost turnovers...10 wins
2008: +8, 22nd in nation...24 lost turnovers...9 wins..ground and pound old man FB
2009: +2...28 lost turnovers...11 wins
2010: +13...11 turnovers lost..8 wins

None of these teams did all that much that was different from the other Ferentz teams. To try to draw this inference as it relates to Iowa, or any team, I just don't see it because so much of turnover margin rests on the number of takeaways the defense has.

One of the few concrete common denominators for Iowa's success has been their rushing d and or scoring d totals...when they haven't ranked in the top ten nationally in one or both of those categories, they've won fewer than eight games.

I haven't read any other threads in this strong other than the original post, so if this point was already raised 10 or more times, I apologize ;)

I love steak. And medium rare....although, I'm more of an A-1 gal....but if it's good steak...you don't need sauce. You think we can get good steak in California? Florida?

The primary difference between getting a good steak on the coasts...as opposed to the MidWest...is that you can go almost anywhere in the MidWest to get a solid steak....on the coasts...you gotta go 4* or better....
