He is a good one, Lao, I am delighted that he is coming. Big times ahead for the Hawks.....

I don't think there was any question about him committing to the Hawks. They are a very close and loving family.....

Very good news for the Iowa BB program.

Connor played a Huge part in I.C. West State Championship (3rd in row? I lost track)
And he was a Freshman!

By the time he gets to Iowa, he is going to be one Heckuva BB player.

Hopefully all 4 kids end up being Hawkeyes. When you have both parents so skilled at playing basketball tough to imagine any of them not being good players. Hopefully Fran can lock down a couple of other big recruits to go with him.

But I can't help but wonder if Roy Williams at least made a phone call into the McCaffery household.

Fran will leave to keeep trying to climb the corporate coaching ladder. I don't see him satisfied to coach Iowa for the next 25 years. Connor will never play as a Hawkeye!
