Congratulations to Coach Ferentz

Ferentz passed into Elite Status yesterday. It marked the first time in his career that he beat both ISU and Northwestern in the same season. Granted, we had a couple of years in there where we missed the 'Cats, but with the 'Cats and Clowns on the schedule every year going forward, this is a significant milestone in Coach's development and it portends good things to come.

17-10

Suck it ok4p! :p

Suck what? I was at the game rocking my Hawks gear and cheering on the boys. Based on how quiet the crowd was in regulation, I thought I was watching a golf match at Dyche Stadium. At least the crowd came through in OT.

I sense sarcasm /looks around

Nope. My biggest criticism of Ferentz to date has been that he has not been able to beat ISU and NU in the same season and if you give us a few of those sweeps, it changes the past 10+ years of Iowa football.

I thought NU called a fantastic game yesterday considering the wind. Ferentz took a full on assault from probably the best x and o coach in the conference and came out victorious after outscheming NU with our defense. I think this game is going to be a turning point.

Meh, KF teams have a trend of getting better as the season progresses with us peaking at a bowl game. Would love another shot at Urban Meyer and tOSU Buckeyes. I think any of the next four are winnable games.

i would be shocked if MSU lost another game all season.

It depends on which Connor Cook shows up. The one against Iowa, where he actually had some pressure, and still played lights out...or the one at Purdue, where he had no pressure and couldn't throw it in the ocean when he was up to his knees in the surf. I agree if it's the guy who showed up against Iowa.

OK4, you spend so much time droping dry troll posts that I can never be sure when you are being sincere and when you are not.

I'm reminded of the scene in the movie Patton. Where Bradley said, "George sometimes we can't tell when you are acting or being serious". Patton said, "It's not important for you to know, it's only important for me to know." I'm not sure OK4 knows.
