Who will be cheering for Ohio State tomorrow nite? Gag...cough....erp.....hahahahahahahahahaha....I could barely get that question out with a straight face!!! Conference loyalty goes OUT THE WINDOW when it comes to this crooked program with the most obnoxious WT fans in the Big Ten.....screw them!!! I'd cheer for a team comprised of the Yankees, Eagles, and Notre Dame before I'd cheer for them....anyway, conference loyalty is OVERRATED.....what has it ever gotten Iowa, besides even further behind in the recruiting battle??? GO TIGERS!!!!!

I'll root for the conference in the bowl games. I sure don't want Satan to win so I'll definitely root for Washington. I'm kind of sick and tired of Dabo Sweeney.

I don't get that....never will. Why, so the rich can get richer??? These are the teams that you are DIRECTLY recruiting against....how does THEIR appeal in a bowl help us? The answer is, it doesn't....it helps THEM. And BTW, calling Saban Satan is nothing but PURE jealousy of what he has built at Alabama. Ohhhhhh, but we do things the RIGHT way.....pfffffttt.....sick of those excuses for mediocre football.

You can call the osu program crooked and I can't call saban satan. Lol I believe Alabama is probably just as crooked as osu. You have an opinion and so do I. Guess you must be jealous of osu.
 
I root for the programs in our conference (except PSU). Just to stick it to ESPN and big 12 fans. I get sick of seeing "SEC dominance" all year round. Love seeing them crap the bed come Bowl season.

People crap on big ten all the time and it makes the conference look better if the B1G does well. Makes Iowa' wins/losses look better if they come against legit teams, instead of the Clones of the world.

Sidebar, anybody watching Michigan get dominated early? What do you think the over/under of time it takes Deace to say "After we got screwed out of the title, this team didn't care about a meaningless bowl?"
 
Northwestern is the perfect example why you want the Big Ten to win in Bowl games. NW went out and beat a Pitt team with some impressive wins on their resume. Now instead of a terrible loss (worse than NDSU IMO), it doesn't look as bad

Northwestern beat a Pitt team without their best player and their QB was knocked out of the game as well. They were very fortunate to say the least.

This is exactly why I don't ever root for Minnesota, Wisconsin, or Nebraska in any games, let alone bowl games. Now with the OSU, Michigan, PSUs of the world, it really doesn't matter. They're going to beat Iowa for 95% of recruits who have offers from Iowa. Regardless if they win or lose a bowl game.
 
Wouldn't root for nebby, can't do it. I did root for nw, indiana.

I don't think MN should have even been able to play there bowl game after the boycott. and wont root for PSU.

Indifferent about Mich, MD. Don't mind seeing HarBaugh lose.

Prolly will pull for OSU, Wisc.

It's a case by case basis. Changes every year.

Nice to see the conference do well, but it doesn't matter much in the grand scheme. It's usually about matchups, and seeing a good game.

I root for the conference, always have, always will. It's the property value analogy that Drummer was alluding to.
