If a player "hotdogs" or taunts while going into the endzone, or shortly after he scores a touchdown, take away the touchdown, and don't penalize the next play. That will stop a lot of taunting.
I absolutely love this rule. I said this when watching a bowl game earlier. The player picks a pass and races down the sideline. About the 10 yard line he starts high stepping. They throw the flag for unsportsman celebration then the enforce it on the kickoff. Why? The penalty occured on the field of play. Any other penalty is enforced as a spot foul and marked off from where it occured. It should be the same as celebration. If it occurs in the endzone fine, enforce on the kick. But if he starts high stepping on the field of play, or does that retarded flip jump into the endzone, take away the TD>
