Comparing Withey and Woodbury

So your telling me "good" highschool players are playing in a half court "league" against 60 yr olds?

Ive never heard of good highschool players, or anyone for that matter, even playing half court let alone a league.

The last time I saw anyone playing half court was in grade school.

Dont believe a word of it.

you can think what you want.

One thing that Woodbury could learn to do well that Withey does well is blocking shots without necessarily needing to jump very high. So many of Withey's blocks come from timing and length rather than trying to jump out of the gym.

Woodbury is not close to the athlete Withey is. Also Woodbury seems to have an unwarranted arrogance to him when the only thing he has proven on the court is that he's incredibly soft.

I hope he proves me dead wrong and dedicates him to the weight room this summer, but right now he has a sense of entitlement that I'm not sure where it's coming from.

Woody is not soft. I don't know how anyone could think that. The guy battles his butt off.
I don't know why people try to compare him. He has a very unique game. His passing and passion are his two greatest attributes.

It would help if woodbury's arms grew 6-8 inches longer.

Against little kids from a D2 school, at 7 ft tall, consider me Maroney.

Stony Brook is a Division I School. They compete in the American East conference. The conference's tournament winner, the Albany Great Danes, had an auto bid to the NCAA D-1 Men's Basketball Tournament.

He is what he is. Gabe's blocks are exciting, but Woodys half court outlet to Marble is just as valuable of a play.
Baffling to me why anyone would not be super excited about this kid.
Btw, he also plays the pick and roll about as well as any player I've seen this year. Some of you need to rewatch some old Brommer highlight tapes to appreciate what we have with Adam.
