Defensive tackle Colin Cole was on his way from the locker room to the weight room at the Seattle Seahawks’ training facility Wednesday afternoon when he stopped to answer the question.
Is there a chance the Bears are overlooking your team?
‘‘Of course they are,’’ said Cole, a former Green Bay Packer and Iowa Hawkeye. ‘‘New Orleans did, too. So did everyone else in America. If they want to overlook us, that’s fine by me.’’
Cole said the Seahawks are confident because they’ve already won in Chicago this season.
But he realizes the Bears are a much different and more run-oriented team than the squad the Seahawks played against in October.
‘‘I welcome the challenge,’’ Cole said. ‘‘I’m looking forward to it. That’s my job, playing against the run.’’
