I don't understand this response at all.

The original question is why do you feel 95% confident that he will commit. Your response seems to be that it still leaves you with a 5% cushion; which is not really a response, rather it is pure speculation (and couldn't possibly provide a meaningful %).

Unless I'm missing something (e.g. an inside joke), this response seems to be the definition of circular logic.
