Coker Rumor

I have a friend that attends Penn State and he's saying that the buzz around campus is that Marcus Coker is transferring there. I'm not saying this is true, just what I heard. Has anyone else heard anything else like this?

uh, three years to play two. he could sit a year. IF his release allows him to go to a conference school.

Brust was a little different because he was a recruit who had yet to step on campus. Coker is a player who's already used two years of eligibility at a Big Ten school.

Marcus would have to end up paying 3 years at PSU to play his 2 years. That is probably at least 90k. I doubt his family will want to come up with 90k when he can probably go to any Big East or ACC school,be close to home and have it for free.

That's the thing about rumors. Anyone can make one up. And often times they do it just to get your goat, or to be a troll.

Given the circumstances of what apparently led MC to leave Iowa and what is going on at PSU, there is 0% of that happening. I don't doubt the rumors, but all you have to do is give it some thought. I can't imagine that he doesn't try to go to Maryland. In-state tuition for him if a scholly is tricky, friendly confines just a few miles from his high school and not much further from his home. All of his friends are around him (although, in the DC area, that's a good reason to go to Iowa for school).
