Does anyone remember the most recent RB that looked tentative and slow to the hole and was clutching the ball and suddenly seemed to break out and look great running "normal"?

I'm a vikings fan and the only person I could think of was AP. the year he had all the fumbled.(A couple of years ago, I think) when he wrapped the ball up he looked tentative and slow.... if there is such a thing for AP. But when he would carry it one handed, he was a totally different back.
He is a soph. Give him some more games. We all had super high hopes after the bowl game, then knowing he was going to be #1, I am sure he got "coached up" alot. He will find his stride. It does all start with ball security, he knows that. He is running harder now, so just give it some time and be happy with 5-10 for now. As the year goes on, he will get better and better, by next year he will be hitting his stride. What concernes me more is getting someone else some time, so we have two very good backs next year.

I certainly hope you're not referring to Greene, at least the 2008 version. He hit the hole HARD, with authority. He wasn't even close to tentative in '08.
