It's his ego. One of my friends that coaches high school ball in Texas has worked a few Iowa camps in the past and said that Coach K was one of the biggest jerks he's ever met in his life.

I sure do. I was the one that told it. He was not liked by pretty much anyone on the team, players, workers etc.

How long was Coach K on the staff at Iowa? If it was more then one year how didn't he get fired sooner? It is not like Iowa Defensive lines were stealer over the last 3 years.
