Coach Ferentz sighting at Cedar Rapid Kennedy

Last night, Iowa City (City High) wrestled Cedar Rapids Kennedy at Kennedy. We have seen City High for a number of tournaments and knew the Coach's son, Stephen, wrestles for the Little Hawks. Right before the match started, in walks, Brian, Coach, and his wife.

Many people noticed him in the gym, but was very impressed that people left him alone. Only a two people (one adult and one kid) went up to get his autograph. People let him watch his boy wrestle and enjoy the dual.

I played Basketball with Keno Davis at West and once in a while Mr. Davis would walk into the West High gym, and I think he was always left alone. Of course, he tended to sit in an area that wasn't too busy.

I think people are afraid of not giving him enough space. I don't think we want a coach to leave like Lute did.

I believe that stephen is a sophomore. He wrestles at 189, so he has some room to grow.
