Totally agree. At the end of they year, if all the complaints you get (like 2015 Iowa) is "they only reason you have a good record every year is because you play non-con cupcakes", would it be that bad?

Yeah it depends on what their goals are. Cheap wins and guaranteed bowl games every year as that would be or something in between that and teams like us... But yeah their ceiling is just so much lower no matter what I could see them taking that route
There are basically three programs that have gone from the gutter to actually good in the Big 12 since I've been paying attention - KSU under Snyder, KU under Mangino, and Baylor under Briles. Every single one of those schools played the worst noncon games possible for many years until they built the program to a winner. When Snyder had his first year back after Ron Prince, they scheduled TWO FCS teams. Baylor scheduled Incarnate Word in 2014 when they were actually good.

That's why we need to get ISU the hell off our schedule in the future. It has been repeated a thousand times on here but we NEVER GET ANYTHING OUT OF THIS GAME,WIN OR LOSE.

Almost every year ISU's record factors in negatively for Iowa. We need to play a Power 5 team that is a consistent winner and forget this bullshit game with ISU.
