They’re better than us with a third of the budget and sloppy fourths for recruiting classes. Why wouldn’t they be ranked?

Quite a turn of events that we're pulling down the Team Out West's strength of schedule.
Good for them, I got down on the clowns back in the 80's with some of their head coaches and McCarney when I heard of how he treated his first wife, his ex-wife. Plus being a big hawk fan I cant stand to lose to ISU.
Also it is hard to follow ISU as bad as they are most of the time plus they have very little good history. I was at old Clyde Williams field when they tied #1 Nebby and Johnny Rodgers. ISU missed a late PAT and a FG try IIRC. That was a very good ISU team in 1972 or so.

We still beat them at their place and they are still little bro.....but little bro has been playing quite well of late.
Fine by me. They'll be losing their coach sooner then later because of a decent year. They are a stepping stone program for coaches. That's it. Your career goes one of two ways if your a HC there now. Campbell getting the clones to resepectability and knocking off Oklahoma on the road will elevate his worth and his agent is probably already fielding calls behind the scenes. If he bails on them they'll be back to rebuilding and no way they get any better then they currently are because of it.
They're practically the same team we beat in Ames. People like to act like the clowns are so much better now but I knew they were a good team when we played. We also should have beat Penn State so it's not a stretch to beat a top 25 team.
