This is good since we have our own concerns in the post.

I wish there was a dislike button. He was great in the Jungle Book. He should have the bare necessities for life in the NBA.

They are gonna be severely hurting in the post. I'm sure Clown fans will claim those two transfers will help, but that's a joke. Both of them put up mediocre stats in awful conferences. If they expect to rely upon them at this level they are idiotic.
They will be a completely guard oriented team with little to no rebounding. I expect next year to be a rebuilding year for Iowa as well, but that match-up will be interesting. Totally different looking team.
It wasn't like ISU was this great rebounding team before. Every now and then when McKay decided he wanted to play other than that.....not so much. Niang wasn't a great rebounder. The last 2 or 3 years they have always been at the bottom of the conference in rebounding margin. It really isn't anything new.

I fully realize the lack of rebounding isn't anything new. However, the lack of offensive production from their bigs will be a shock. Niang and McKay both provided them with scoring options down low. Niang was their go to guy. Now they don't have a scoring option down low. Malou would have provided some offense that neither of their transfers will be able to provide. They won't even have a threat in the paint.
Merrill Holden and Darrell Bowie are their two incoming transfers. Here's their stats:
Holden is a transfer from Louisiana Tech who plays in Conference USA. He's 6'8 215 lbs forward. He'll be a senior. He averaged 8 pts, 5 rebounds, and 1 block last year as a Junior at LT. The previous season he averaged 1 point and 1 rebound in 6 minutes of play per game.
Bowie is another transfer from Northern Illinois (like Nader was). He's a 6'7 215 lb forward. He'll be a senior as well. He hurt his shoulder and used a medical redshirt last season, but in 2014-2015 he averaged 13 pts and 7 rebounds while playing for the Huskies in the MAC conference.
These guys will give them some size. Neither has great size, but they will at least fill what is a gaping void in the front court. Both have rather lackluster numbers considering what conferences they played in. I don't either one of them coming in and making much of an impact at this level, but at least they provide a couple of bodies. That's as much as Prohm can hope for after losing Malou.
Do they have any HS recruits coming in or is Prohm like Hoiberg and only goes after transfers?
