I thought it was kind of fun to poke at the Cyclone's misery on this one for a bit, then I read up on the kid. Sounds like he has been continually shat upon his whole life and is more or less being forced to opt for the NBA. Getting a D1 scholly would have been great for him and a life changer. I will be rooting for him.

Seriously. This guy has paid his dues. Hope he has someone trustworthy to help him with his NBA money. He seems to have been burned a lot by people he trusted.

Unfortunately if ISU does worse than the cyfan expectations they're going to blame Prohm and try to run him out of town all the while telling us how they were a couple of missed calls from winning it all.

I think Prohm is doing what he can to plug a couple bodies in at this point. Seems like most Cyclone fans believe he'll use their remaining scholarship to try and land another transfer who will be eligible to play in the 2017/2018 season. They lose a ton of players next year. I think they'll have 6 or 7 open schollies so I imagine he'll target quite a few high school kids, but who knows. Transfers have been their thing.

Looks like romelo white is going to visit. He looks pretty good imo

They lost out on Malou but this Romello White kid they have visiting is a top 100 player in 2016 class with some nice offers and nice size. ISU will be decent this season with their guards in Thomas, Morris, Long, and Jackson. They'll make tourney comfortably again and compete in a watered down Big 12. It's the following year where they will really take a dive while Iowa vastly improves. Iowa will be down this year while ISU has one more good year but that will change going forward.
