I wouldnt know about hawk fans on CF. I have never visited CF and never will.
And most Hawk fans won't visit CF. Just like most Cyclone fans won't visit HN. People keep acting like it's so huuuuge deal that posters from other schools visit here. It's not. Every sports forum is visited by fans of schools outside of their own. It's such a stupid point to bring up. If forums wanted only their own fans to post, then there wouldn't be a Rivals section. It creates more traffic.
I think the point being made isnt the fact that fans from other schools visit HN. I think its the fact that other schools fans, mainly clown fans, spend more time on HN than anywhere else.

I don't usually go to other team's sites but I was bored over lunch and was curious to see what Husker fan thought of Friday's game. It was funny to see an Iowa State fan write such a long breakdown (and not a very accurate one either) on the Hawks. If Iowa pulled off the biggest upset in school history last Saturday, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't go to Oklahoma's website and write "keys to beating Iowa State." Actually, I would never do that under any circumstance

I think there are fans who actually care about both teams, like teams from Iowa to do well, or whatever. Over here, most of the Clone posters are on here to defend their program and coach to Iowa fan or talk smack. There are of course exceptions, but I think that's why we get annoyed with Clone fans on this board. I can't speak for Hawk fans on CF, I never go there.

I go to CF a lot. It's rather entertaining and I enjoy a lot of the posters from over there. Does it make me any less of an Iowa fan? Nope.
Trust me, if you had to deal with Husker fans on a regular basis, it wouldn't even be close.

To be fair that is Cy the Cyclone and he has talked smack about Iowa football forever. But if you look at some of his past posts he rips on Huskers pretty good as well. There is Nebraska smack talk on here as well, thats the way it goes i guess.
Lets face it, all fan bases has idiots. I think those that talk smack about Nebraska know some obnoxious Husker fan, and therefore take shots when they can. Iowa State fans however, are Clones living in a Hawkeye state, therefore, they act like the little brother often. I am friends with many Clone fans, and have been to several games, but when we talk football, almost all of them turn into whinny little brother. They spend more time trying to rip Iowa then talking about their own team. It's pretty annoying.

I live in Madison, WI and both of my next door neighbors are Nebraska fans. They're both really cool and have a good attitude about all of this.
I also have many friends who are UW fans. Great people, but when it comes to football and basketball they are really arrogant.
It all depends upon one's perspective (and zip code).
Having said that, Iowa clearly has a lot of DBag fans as well. Look at this board after an Iowa loss.
