Clock Management

Maybe somebody brought this up, but why down the ball and give up a down at end of first half when you have two time outs left. In the end we ran out of downs with 40 seconds left on the clock. Got a FG instead of potential TD

I was saying the same thing. I guess all Kirk got from the backlash at the end of the Wisky game was to spike it. We ended up not using either of the time outs we had left and ended up wasting a play. We still could have ran the ball in that situation.

Completely agree. It was a very poor decision and once again showed our poor clock management. They showed KF on the sidelines and he was doing the "clock it" motion, but did not look real confident. There was PLENTY of time to run a play and give yourself a better chance for a TD.

That's a head scratcher to me. We are so lost in this area and always have been. I don't get it.

Our 2 minute offense and clock management are very poor and have been for some time. Not sure why the staff hasn't improved in those areas.
